The Weha Blitz Dry Diamond Core Bit is a high-speed drilling solution engineered for granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, engineered stone, concrete countertops, and natural stone fabrication. Designed for aggressive cutting and maximum efficiency, the Blitz delivers exceptional speed, clean holes, and long tool life across a wide range of materials.

Featuring vacuum-brazed diamonds on both the inside and outside of the barrel, the Blitz Core Bit reduces drag, heat, and friction while promoting faster drilling. The exposed diamond design allows the bit to “bite” immediately upon contact, minimizing walking and improving control from the start.

What Makes the Blitz Different?

Interior & Exterior Vacuum-Brazed Diamonds:
Unlike standard core bits that only feature exterior diamonds, the Blitz is vacuum-brazed inside and outside the barrel. This dual-diamond design increases cutting speed, improves core release, and allows for easy hole enlargement when needed. It also performs exceptionally well when creating radius holes or fine-tuning grommet openings.

Fast Drilling Performance:
Engineered for high RPM operation, the Blitz is capable of drilling through 3cm granite in seconds when run at recommended speeds. For optimum performance, operate at up to 10,000 RPM.

Dry or Wet Use:
Designed primarily for dry, on-site fabrication, the Blitz can be mounted directly onto standard grinders (5/8-11 thread) for fast faucet holes, sink corners, radius work, and grommet openings. It may also be used wet in shop environments with air or electric polishers for equally aggressive performance.

Long-Lasting Performance:
Despite its high cutting speed, the Blitz delivers impressive durability. Depending on material thickness and hardness, users can expect approximately 60–150 holes per bit.
